Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, introduced to the team of the Kyiv City State Administration e newly appointed KCSA Head Oleksandr Popov, according to the Department of Information and Communications of the Secretariat of the CMU.

"I am pleased to inform everyone that the President of Ukraine made a decision and instructed me to announce the appointment of Oleksandr Popov, as the Head of the Kyiv City State Administration. I congratulate Alexander Popov and all the inhabitants of Kiev" - Mykola Azarov said.

The Head of the Government emphasized that there are many urgent problems in Kyiv that must be addressed. He said the priority for Kyiv is the development and adoption of development master plan. "We both have a very short period of time to turn Kyiv into the capital of European state. This is not some sort of comparison or a bright image - this is our task which we will make closer step by step" - the Prime Minister said.
