Deputy head of the BYuT-Batkivshchyna faction in the Verkhovna Rada Serhiy Sobolev says the European Court of Human Rights may combine Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeals against her conviction by the Pechersk District Court in the so-called “gas case” and her repeat arrest as part of the reopened case involving United Energy Systems of Ukraine into one, according to the Official web site of Yulia Tymoshenko.
“I think that most likely these materials will be combined into one case and the European court will consider both issues because the decision of the appeals court is final in the case of arrest,” Serhiy Sobolev told journalists inside the Kyiv Court of Appeals.
