"In connection with the urgent departure of the investigator on an official trip the interrogation has been transferred for another date," the Ukrainska Pravda quoted the PGO's document.
The PGO will later inform Tymoshenko about a new date of the questioning.
As reported, Tymoshenko was summoned to the Main Investigative Department of the PGO May 12, 2010 to hand her, in accordance with the requirements of Article 98-2 the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, copies of resolutions on the opening of a criminal case against her on charges of the attempted bribery of judges of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.
Tymoshenko said that the Main Investigative Department of the Prosecutor General's Office has given her a writ on the opening of a criminal case against her and summoned her to the PGO on May 17 for questioning.
The PGO's press service said that the criminal case had been opened in May 2004 and prematurely closed in January 2005 without implementing all of the necessary investigative actions in full, as provided by Article 22 of the Criminal Procedure Code. In this regard, the pre-trial investigation on this case has been resumed.
