The Appeals Court of Kyiv has refused to consider the appeal of the Pechersk District Court's resolution ordering the arrest of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

"There are no legal grounds for the court to consider the appeal from Yulia Tymoshenko’s defense lawyer Yuriy Sukhov," Judge Olga Yefimova said when announcing the court's decision.

The courtroom audience reacted with cries of "Shame!" and "Criminal in a robe!"
